Divitya Vakil

Hi, my name is Divitya Vakil and I’m a sophomore at Northwestern University studying Cognitive Science. I first started working with Expanding Lives in 2016 and have learned so much since then. One of my favorite parts of Expanding Lives is having the opportunity to develop relationships with talented, motivated, and strong women from Benin and Niger. It always amazes me how much the girls grow after six weeks and I always love hearing about what they accomplish after returning to their hometowns.
