Imagine a young woman
in the community...

...a young woman with a rich variety of ideas born of cultural experiences at museums, concerts, and tours. A global citizen who has shared, discussed and evaluated these experiences with American high school and college students, and who is prepared to incorporate them into experiences for others.

Cultural Liaison Grant          $25

...a young woman who understands that knowledge is power and who knows how to access that information on the World Wide Web and through e-mail. Add skills in presentation, and she is able to show others what she learns.

Informational Technology Grant    $35

...a young woman who knows the meaning of self-confidence and works to develop it in herself and her peers. One who can also see her community’s assets and use them to solve its deficits.

Empowerment Leadership Grant   $50

...a young woman explaining the rights and responsibilities of individuals in a fledgling democracy to those who have never voted before.  A true citizen who understands human rights practices and can convince others of their importance.

Democracy Grant         $100

-Imagine, then, a young woman who can avoid being a statistic.  A young woman able to make powerful, positive life choices for herself, assist her peers in making healthy decisions, and expand the lives of everyone around her.
